Aspirational Experiments: A framework for shooting to the stars
My second article for Alaska Business was published in January, 2024, and started my column, The Focused Manager. This magazine featured Junior Achievement in that issue, and since I had done that in my youth, I wanted to incorporate it into my article.
Aspirational Experimentation is part of my methodology for managers leading their organizations. One of the challenges for managers as they get into leadership is how to continue fostering new ideas and insights as they become more removed from the people doing the work.
